PieceofClean Service Agreement

1. Introduction
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the Client (“Client”) and PieceofClean, a registered brand under Magniva Enterprises Corp. operating in Ontario, Canada (“Company”). By booking and receiving services from PieceofClean, the Client agrees to be legally bound by this Agreement, including any terms published or updated on the Company website or through Company communication channels.
2. Scope of Services
PieceofClean provides recurring and one-time residential and light commercial cleaning services across Ontario.
- Services are delivered by vetted, trained, and insured independent contractors or Company-employed professionals.
- Cleaning services include, but are not limited to: general cleaning, deep cleaning, kitchen and bathroom sanitization, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning.
- Clients enrolled in a membership subscription are entitled to discounted rates and exclusive offers.
- Additional or special requests may incur extra charges and must be confirmed in advance.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Clients can book services through our online platform, phone, or email. Accurate address, access, and preferences must be provided. While we aim to honor preferred time slots, availability may require adjustments. Recurring clients will be assigned standard windows.
4. Access and Entry
If no one is home, the Client must provide secure access (lockbox, code, etc.). Failure to provide access at the scheduled time results in a lockout fee (see Section 8).
5. Membership Model and Benefits
Clients subscribing to our membership enjoy:
- Lower service rates
- Priority scheduling and rescheduling
- Exclusive surprise boxes and add-ons
- Dedicated customer support
Optional add-on services such as fridge or oven cleaning can be requested for any scheduled cleaning. These tasks are included in the checklist but completed only if time allows. If additional time is required, clients may purchase extra time or switch to an hourly booking model.
6. Service Quality and Expectations
Cleaners follow a standard checklist per property size. Before-and-after photos are taken for quality and accountability. Clients may opt out of photography by request, which may affect eligibility for re-cleans. A safe and respectful environment must be maintained at all times.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee & Re-Clean Policy
If the Client is unsatisfied, complaints must be reported within 24 hours. One free re-clean is offered. No monetary refunds will be issued. Re-cleans must be scheduled within 48 hours of the complaint.
8. Cancellation, Lockout & Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a 50% fee.
- Access issues (lockout) also result in a 50% fee.
- Rescheduling is free if done at least 2 business days in advance.
- If the Company cancels, Clients will be offered priority rescheduling.
9. Employee and Contractor Conduct
- No personal phone use, eating, smoking, or loud music.
- Cleaners won’t answer the Client’s door or phone unless instructed.
- No heavy lifting or ladder use.
10. Safety, Pets, and Security
The Client must notify the Company of any pets. The Company is not responsible for escaped pets. Alarm systems must be disarmed or access codes shared before service.
11. Items We Cannot Clean or Handle
- Biohazardous waste (urine, feces, blood)
- Infested areas (bedbugs, roaches, etc.)
- Outdoor spaces (patios, garages)
- Litter boxes, chimneys, fireplaces
- Inaccessible or high areas
12. Damages and Liability
Clients must secure all valuables. All damage claims must be reported within 72 hours. The Company’s liability is capped at the lower of the repair/replacement cost or 3x the service fee.
13. Insurance and Bonding
All cleaners are insured. The Company is not liable for unsafe conditions, pre-existing damage, or structural faults.
14. Non-Solicitation
Clients agree not to hire PieceofClean cleaners privately for 2 years. Violations will result in a $5,000 placement fee.
15. Tips and Gratuities
Tips are optional but encouraged. Clients may tip via cash or invoice.
16. Confidentiality and Data Usage
Client data is used only for service and communication. Photos are private unless consent is provided.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by Ontario law. Both parties agree to try informal resolution before arbitration or legal action.
18. Changes to This Agreement
The Company may revise this Agreement. Continued service use implies acceptance of updates.
